Our Community Connections

At Prudential Northwest Properties, we have a long history of supporting the communities in which we live and work.

·         In 1991, our company president, Bert E. Waugh, Jr. and his wife, Susy, founded Transitional Youth to support local homeless youth with material and financial assistance

·         In 2007 Bert E. Waugh, Jr. received the prestigious Good Neighbor Award from REALTOR Magazine for his efforts in helping youth in need, and in 2005 he received the Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS Good Neighbor Award

·         We support Transitional Youth residential homes in Portland and Vancouver, providing guidance and a safe haven for homeless youth transitioning from the streets 

·         We support The Sunshine Kids, helping children battling and recovering from cancer

·         Our company sponsors the annual Transitional Youth Golf Tournament and the Seasonal Celebration to raise funds for Transitional Youth

·         We collect and purchase holiday gifts for homeless youth each year

·         Many Prudential Northwest Properties sales professionals donate a portion of their commissions directly to the charities we support

·         Our agents and staff are involved in volunteer efforts throughout the community; several have been nationally recognized

·         We represent Prudential in the national Spirit of Community Awards, recognizing outstanding youth volunteer efforts locally

·         Our company is the proud recipient of the Prudential Community Champions Award, in recognition of our commitment to Transitional Youth

·         Our branch offices are conveniently located in neighborhoods throughout the area
